Susan lives in Billings, Montana and leads people to reclaiming their Celtic heritage and Gaelic language, both in person and online.\nImbolc is a holy day for traditional Gaels (Scots and Irish) …the day of Brigid/Bride, Mother Goddess of the Gaels. Here is an incantation to bring her close by the hearth and home….\nSt. Bride’s Charm\nThe charm put by Bride the beneficent,\nOn her goats, on her sheep, on her kine,\nOn her horses, on her charges, on her herds,\nEarly and late going home, and from home.\nTo keep them from rocks and ridges,\nFrom the heels and the horns of one another,\nFrom the birds of the Red Rock,\nAnd from Luath of the Feinne.\nFrom the blue peregrine hawk of Creag Duilion,\nFrom the brindled eagle of Ben-Ard,\nFrom the swift hawk of Tordun,\nFrom the surly raven of Bard’s Creag.\nFrom the fox of the wiles,\nFrom the wolf of the Mam,\nFrom the foul-smelling fumart,\nAnd from the restless great-hipped bear.\nFrom every hoofed of four feet,\nAnd from every hatched of two wings.\n
