How to stay Connected when Everything’s Different

How does one write a newsletter to share plans for the month when everything changes from day to day? As many of us find ourselves instructed by officials to avoid gatherings, stay home, distance ourselves, it’s the distance that feels the most different.

We feel you. Barjon’s is built on connection – with our minds, emotions, spirits, each other, the natural world… The good news is, this is not changed. Rather, the change is only how we maintain our connections.

So this April, Barjon’s Book celebrates connections. Here are the ways we all can maintain our connections in this season of change:

1. Reach out for a quick pick-me-up

Barjon’s Books is available by email daily, and are checking and responding to our voicemail messages regularly at the store number (406) 252 4398.

Be sure to check our website or our Facebook page for the latest information on store hours. Whether or not the store is open to the public, we are more than happy to take orders and arrange a time for a doorside pickup.

Speaking of Facebook, we regularly share inspirational and conversation worthy posts. If you have an uplifting quote or idea, feel free to reach out and share it with us!

2. Let our intuitive readers be your guide

Our reader schedule remains intact, even as store hours change temporarily. Schedule an appointment online, and your intuitive reader will call you at the appointed time.

In addition, renowned psychic medium and long time friend, Sam Herbert has a special offer for phone readings to support you and Barjon’s in this season. We extend a special thank you to Sam for his incredible offer to donate half of his appointment fees to Barjon’s during this time of social distancing to help support our community connections. 3. Buy now, shop later

4. Share some magic

Laura Tempest Zakroff, author of Sigil Witchery, created a sigil of Needs Met in one of her classes. With her permission, we share it here with you, and for you.

She writes:

This is a shared magic sigil. You are welcome to use this sigil however you see fit that is in alignment with the intent of the sigil. Ideas for use:
– use on altar for ritual work to support the community
– place on candles (basic white candles are fine, but use whatever color you may feel drawn to or simply have available).

You can also use in conjunction with the Immunity Booster Sigil – which was created to help deal with the coronavirus.

PLEASE NOTE:
When sharing this sigil, please be sure to include the link to the blog post (https://www.patheos.com/blogs/tempest/2020/03/introducing-the-needs-met-sigil.html). The sigil works best if people understand precisely what went into it, versus just sharing the image and telling people to use it. The Needs Met Sigil is protected by the Creative Commons License

We encourage you to visit Laura’s blog post for more information on the details and how it works. For more information on any of Laura’s many authored titles, reach out to us at any time.
